Overview
CEIS | Power is currently looking for a Construction Quality Manager for one of our top clients in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Construction Quality Manager (Electrical) is a full-time field-based position responsible for electrical inspection and oversight services to support the implementation and execution of the project site quality program. Collaborate with contractors to resolve discrepancies and ambiguities and ensures all construction activities are performed in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications, to include contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Control and the distribution of all the companys quality documentation.
- Monitor all quality related activities on the project.
- Perform daily inspections of the work being performed onsite.
- Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the companys management.
- Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
- Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.
- Monitor the disposition of all issued non conformance reports.
- Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements, when required.
- Review and provide comments on all quality related correspondence with the contractors representatives.
- Monitor statistical method reporting.
- Review all turnover documentation upon the completion of the project.
- Participate in all quality related activities with the designated representatives.
- Attend monthly, weekly and daily meetings and provide perspective on all quality related subjects when needed.
