A company is looking for a Counsel, Records and Information Management.
Key Responsibilities
Establish a new records and information management process, transitioning from broad legal holds to a precise approach
Develop and publish a detailed records retention schedule, including record categories, descriptions, retention periods, responsible parties, and legal sources
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine the records retention schedule and identify ambiguities or gaps
Required Qualifications
JD preferred
Proven expertise in records and information management within highly regulated industries
Strong understanding of legal and compliance requirements related to records retention
Ability to work independently and focus on project completion
