Assistant Apparel Product Developer (on-site, Las Vegas)

The Eagle Promotions Merchandising Team is seeking a positive, detail-oriented, and dedicated individual to assist in bringing apparel product development concepts to life. This position supports the Apparel Product Development team by managing samples, materials, and technical documentation throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed tech packs for review and approval by the Apparel Product Developer
  • Maintain the fabric and trim library, including photographing and logging materials
  • Organize and maintain the Cut & Sew sample closet
  • Photograph and measure fit samples, pre-production samples, and bulk orders
  • Verify strike-off (S / O) colors against approved PMS standards
  • Track and log incoming and outgoing sample packages to and from vendors
  • Assist with market research as needed — including attending trade shows, vendor meetings, and other events to gather information on materials, trims, and manufacturing trends
  • Stay current on industry trends, color forecasts, and developments within the fashion and apparel market

Required Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in the custom apparel industry as an Assistant Product Developer, Technical Assistant, or a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel / Fashion, Business, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of garment construction and production processes
  • Working knowledge of fabrics, materials, and trims
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience with PLM systems preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
