Must-Have :

MUST have recent acute care experience, 2 years preferred.

MUST have experience with TeleTracking and Cerner.

MUST be strong in computers and prefer experience with Zoom and all Google applications.

MUST be able to multitask and have good customer service skills.

MUST understand the differences between various departments / units.

Description :

This position has no hands-on patient care.

The nurse is responsible for placing patients in appropriate units based on bed requests.

They will need to use critical thinking skills to assess if a bed request is appropriate and communicate with charge or leadership as necessary.

The role involves working off multiple screens and utilizing several applications for communication and bed management.

Candidates must have a background in acute care and possess effective communication skills.

The schedule consists of three shifts per week, working from 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM.

Weekend shifts are required, with four shifts in a four-week period.

Candidates must be available to work holidays if needed.

There will be additional orientation and training specific to department procedures.

The position does not involve managing bedding or staffing arrangements.

Cancellation policy allows for a limited number of shifts to be canceled during the assignment.

This role requires familiarity with various departments and a commitment to providing high-quality placement services.
