Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with an active NY license and Epic charting experience for night shifts in a rural medical ICU.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a 6-bed medical ICU within a rural hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Floating to other units may be required
  • EPIC charting experience is required
  • Care for patients in a lower acuity rural ICU environment
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • Return staff may be considered after 1 year
  • Completion of pre-start online modules required
  • Every other weekend and day / night rotation may be expected

  • Active NY RN license in hand is required
  • Minimum of 1 year ICU or critical care nursing experience
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Experience using EPIC EMR system is required
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
