Overview
Thompson Engineering is seeking a highly experienced Field Services Senior Engineer III to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity and performance of construction projects through expert review, technical problem-solving, and materials engineering.
Responsibilities
- Review construction materials testing reports and field inspection results for compliance with specifications and standards
- Resolve complex technical issues related to materials, construction methods, and site conditions
- Engineer concrete mix designs tailored to project requirements and environmental conditions
- Develop and oversee concrete repair strategies, including assessment, material selection, and implementation
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to communicate findings and recommendations
- Mentor junior engineers and field technicians, fostering best practices and technical excellence
