Job Summary Acts as an active member of the management team to support the care management model, standards of pediatric clinical practice, legal and regulatory standards, Code of Ethics and established policies. Supervises professional, administrative and technical personnel providing care. Partners with Ambulatory Manager / Director on business and financial operations.
Essential Functions
- Assures clinic compliance with all applicable regulations including but not limited to OSHA, CLIA, CMS and TJC.
- Monitors clinic operations and leads daily huddles to ensure patient care needs are met effectively and efficiently.
- Develops plans for optimal staffing levels. Reviews and approves automated time system (ATS) for verification of hours worked by staff.
- Monitors and orders supplies and equipment needed for patient care.
- Identifies clinical and operation improvement opportunities and supports medical and administrative leaders to prioritize and implement changes.
- Partners with key stakeholders to implement action plans for patient experience improvements to ensure a high caliber of patient care and services. Holds staff accountable for the day to day delivery of the "experience promise."
- Ensures effective communication of information between Ambulatory leadership and clinic staff, and facilitates communication between other teams and their staff.
- Participates in recruitment of new staff and trains and assures competencies of staff in conjunction with Human Resources Business Partner and Ambulatory Manager / Director.
- Conducts performance management functions including the formal review process, goal setting, and on-going coaching and feedback to staff. Makes performance rating and merit recommendations in partnership with manager / director.
- Provides input into budget and other resource requests.
- Participates in direct patient care per competencies as assigned.

Graduate of an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology, Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy RequiredExperience
2+ years Speech-Language Pathology, Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy experience; prior experience in a pediatric setting PreferredPrevious leadership experience PreferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
