IT Consulting Senior Consultant- Utilities Focus (Denver)

Overview

IT Consulting Senior Consultant - Utilities Focus at Plante Moran. This position involves advising utility clients in the public sector, including local and regional agencies such as cities, counties, and utility authorities / districts, with a focus on customer experience and process improvements within enterprise software implementations.

As an experienced hire, you will collaborate with consultants and senior leadership in our Public Sector Consulting Practice to advise on technology selections, business process improvements, and project delivery for utility organizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technology selection projects and provide advice to public sector utility clients during their technology implementations
• Help clients improve their operations through business process re-design
• Utilize project management skills and ensure client satisfaction
• Prepare and present project deliverables to clients
• Perform information technology (IT) assessments, strategic technology plans and process reengineering, and organization assessments
• Conduct client account management activities that include identifying and closing on engagements with existing clients and prospects, attending industry conferences, as well as developing a strong referral network for business development
• Participate directly in preparing and submitting proposals for generating new work

Qualifications

This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

Colorado and Illinois applicants : compensation ranges are provided for transparency and are location-specific.
