This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Embedded Engineer - Recent Grad / Full Time in the United States .

This role is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to begin their career in embedded systems development. You will design, implement, and test software for embedded devices and systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and ensure software quality. This position provides hands-on experience with low-level hardware interfaces, I / O performance optimization, and real-world problem-solving in a collaborative, innovative environment. You will be part of projects that have tangible impact, developing the first layer of code that directly interacts with device hardware. This role also offers mentorship, career growth, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies and practices in embedded software engineering.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement software for embedded devices and systems , ensuring stability and efficiency.
  • Analyze and monitor system performance, troubleshooting and optimizing I / O operations .
  • Support software quality assurance , including testing, debugging, and validation of embedded systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, integrate, and deploy embedded software solutions .
  • Contribute to documentation, coding standards, and configuration management practices.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Recent graduates who will have completed their degree between August 2025 and May 2026 and are available for full-time employment.
  • Proficiency in C / C++, Java, Ada, or similar programming languages for embedded systems development.
  • Knowledge or experience with software configuration management , software development lifecycle, and testing.
  • Exposure to tools such as Matlab, Simulink, LabView, Python , or similar.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills .
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Benefits

  • Salary range : $68,000 – $126,500 / year, depending on experience and location.
