Were looking to hire a Media Planner II for our client, a leading company in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Mettawa, Illinois.
In this role, youll drive the development and execution of innovative media strategies that connect with target audiences and align with client goals. Youll leverage research tools, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns are strategic, efficient, and impactful.
Media Planner II Responsibilities :
- Spearhead the creation of comprehensive media plans, focusing on audience insights and strategic channel selection across digital, print, programmatic, and social platforms.
- Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including vendor identification, proposal evaluation, and rate negotiation, in collaboration with senior team members.
- Maintain and nurture vendor relationships throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal account teams and provide mentorship to the Associate Media Planner.
- Develop and present strategic media recommendations to clients, ensuring alignment with their objectives.
- Utilize market research and performance data to refine and optimize media plans.
- Work closely with the social media team to integrate social strategies into broader media plans.
- Partner with the analytics manager to interpret data and deliver strategic insights, particularly in digital and social media metrics.
- Oversee campaign monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Media Planner II Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.46 years of experience in media planning or buying.Proficient in programmatic, digital, and social media channels.Proven management experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with social media management tools and programmatic advertising platforms.Familiarity with Campaign Manager 360 and industry research tools such as M3 / Kantar, Telmar, and Media Radar.Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of pharmaceutical advertising regulations and industry standards.Perks & Benefits :
