Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Home Health

Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 17 : 00)

Guaranteed Hours : Flexible

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required

License : Valid state or compact nursing license required

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Must-Have :

Skilled home care experience
Home health experience with OASIS training
IV skills and wound care expertise
Valid driver's license and reliable car for home visits
COVID-19 vaccination or exemption form
Flu shot or mandatory mask wearing

Job Description :

Perform skilled home visits with an average of 6-8 visits per day

Provide patient care including cardiopulmonary assessment, basic wound care, and dressing changes

Manage high-risk diagnoses such as heart failure, COPD, myocardial infarction, pneumonia, stroke, and post-op care

Execute tasks involving foley catheter care, staple / suture removal, and lab draw venipuncture

Handle advanced procedures such as IV skills, PICC line care, SQ port access / deaccess, and Pleurx / Asept drain care

Utilize systems for scheduling and documentation

Self-schedule visits and hours based on office needs

Complete pre-start and annual training modules regularly

Please note that flexibility in scheduling and weekend availability may be required. This position requires a commitment to maintaining patient safety and adhering to vaccination requirements.
