Structural Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Engineering
Lead structural engineering projects from proposal through completion.
Coordinate directly with senior engineers, executives, and clients.
Apply sound engineering judgment to design, evaluation, and problem-solving tasks.
Visit job sites as necessary to assess project conditions and progress.
Technical Design & Oversight
Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of project types.
Ensure work adheres to industry standards and best practices.
Use software tools such as RISA 3D, RISA Foundation, and Excel; basic knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting platforms is required.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and design staff.
Ensure clear communication and quality control across project phases.
Coordinate internal resources and manage project timelines and budgets.
Client Engagement & Development
Participate in business development and marketing activities with targeted clients.
Foster long-term client relationships through professional service delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a focus on structural design.
Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (AISC, ACI, ASCE, NDS, Building Codes).
Proficient with engineering software tools; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting tools preferred.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
