CNC Machinist | $22.00–$24.00 per hour | Day Shift, Full-Time, Temporary (3 Months)

  • Schedule : Day Shift – Monday through Friday 6am - 3pm
  • Location : East Berlin, CT
  • Temporary role expected to last 3 months

Job Description

Join a growing manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist, where you will work on a vertical machining center, grinder, and surface grinder. This role requires more than just operating machines—you’ll need strong manual dexterity and polishing skills, including using a Dremel or rotary file. If you have polishing or grinding experience, it’s a plus. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position with a temporary assignment of 3 months.

Responsibilities :

  • Operate CNC vertical machining centers with an understanding of machining processes
  • Utilize grinders and surface grinders for precision work
  • Perform polishing tasks, including detailed work with a Dremel or rotary file
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of machined parts beyond simple machine operation

    • Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Previous CNC machining experience required
  • Experience with grinders, surface grinders, and polishing preferred
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and keep work areas tidy
  • Mechanical aptitude and commitment to producing quality work

    The base pay range for this position is $22.00–$24.00 / hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
