Job Quick Facts : Specialty : Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type : Locum Tenens Facility Location : Cadillac, MI Service Setting : Inpatient / Outpatient Reason For Coverage : Supplemental Coverage Period : ASAP - Ongoing Coverage Type : Call Only Shifts needed to be filled : - Aug 28 - Sep 29 - Oct 2 - Ongoing every month Call Schedule : 24-hr Call; 8a-8a GYN Surgeries per day : 1-2 Nursery Admissions : 2 per day % of Practice : - 60% Low-Risk Pregnancy, 40% High-Risk Pregnancy - 10% GYN, 18% C-Section Physician in Practice : 2 Support Staff : RN Procedures : - Obstetrics : Low-Risk Pregnancy, High-Risk Pregnancy, OB ultrasounds - Labor & Delivery : Routine Delivery, Complicated Delivery, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations - Gynecology : Surgical Gynecology, LOAs, Chromal Tubation Beds in the Dept : 13; 8 (IP) Lab & Ultrasound onsite Trauma Level : II Nursery Level : I EMR : Cerner Duties : - Attend deliveries (C / S and vaginal) - Respond to the ED for emergent OB issues - Admit and discharge OB patients Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements : MI License or IMLC BC CSR ACLS, BLS Clean Record Local (highly preferred) Currently participates in MI Medicaid / CHAMPS COVID Vaccination
