Responsibilities Work in an outpatient radiology department Primary assignment at a medical facility with potential to float to a nearby sister hospital Adult patient population requiring MRI imaging Uses Epic for charting and documentation; EMR experience preferred Schedule includes Mondays and Fridays 10 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM, and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 12 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 PM Five shifts per week, 8 hours per day Responsible for patient positioning and use of appropriate coils following radiologist protocols Operate MRI equipment, enter scan data, and ensure scan quality Communicate effectively with patients during procedures for comfort and safety Monitor patients throughout scans using control room observation and closed-circuit TV Alert staff to safety requirements related to magnet room Must complete background check and drug screening within specified timelines Assignment may require floating to a nearby sister hospital as needed Assignment limited to one consecutive year before a mandatory 30-60 day break Requirements Graduate of an accredited radiology program Active NJ State RT license required if applicable MR certification required Current BLS certification 1-3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist Strong critical thinking, judgement, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel Ability to work independently and interpret documents Experience with Epic EMR preferred Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-608980.
