Overview

Software Platform Domain Architect – Communication role at Stellantis. The Software Platform Architecture team is looking for an experienced and innovative Domain Architect to lead the design and evolution of the automotive Communication software domain. You will architect scalable, reliable, and standards‑compliant communication systems that power next‑generation vehicles, working at the intersection of embedded systems, automotive communication protocols (such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SOME / IP), and software platforms to ensure seamless integration, performance, and safety across the vehicle ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Define and document the overall platform architecture for the Communication domain, including software components, third‑party components, and data flows between ECUs, gateways, and central compute units.
• Define and drive the strategic vision and architectural roadmap for the Communication domain within the automotive software platform, ensuring robust, scalable, and future‑ready in‑vehicle networking.
• Provide technical guidance and lead architectural decisions to ensure alignment with standards and best practices, solution feasibility, and fulfillment of long‑term goals.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional hardware, systems, and software teams to ensure alignment of architecture with hardware capabilities and vehicle requirements.
• Define KPIs for communication platform quality and performance, ensuring ongoing monitoring and improvement.
