Maintenance Technician Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various production machinery, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of production machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
  • Collaborate with production staff to ensure machinery is operating effectively and efficiently
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Experience with PLC systems and production machinery
  • Familiarity with conveyor systems and their maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
