alternative therapies for overall health and wellness. Clients may choose between cryotherapy,

Position Description :

We are seeking a skilled licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Therapists who

are passionate about the profession, grounded in ethical practice, respectful of personal

boundaries, client focused, and comfortable working in a multi-service environment are

encouraged to apply. The following list contains responsibilities of the position.

Deliver high quality massage therapy tailored to the client need. This may include

relaxation, pain relief, or muscle recovery.

Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage for stress reduction, tension

relief, chronic pain, and overall health and wellness.

Review client intake form and facilitate thorough verbal intake to properly assess client

need.

Offer a variety of massage modalities, Swedish required. Be certified or be willing to

become certified in Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Hot

Stone Massage, etc.

Maintain confidential client records including accurate and detailed SOAP notes

Promote return booking and ongoing wellness plans with clients

Keep treatment room and all equipment clean, change linens between sessions

Effectively communicate with clients, management, and staff. Attempt to create

an inviting atmosphere through a friendly and helpful attitude.

Qualification Requirements :

Present and maintain an active massage therapy license in the State of North

Carolina.

Possess and maintain your own Massage Therapy Liability Insurance

CPR / First Aid Certification preferred but not required.

Competitive Pay : Pay based on % commission of services rendered, averaging

$25 - $40 per 60 min massage, plus tip. Tips average between $10 - $25.

All massage equipment, tools, linens, and supplies will be provided for you

Flexible Schedule with complete access to place your own breaks

Onsite laundry service provided. All you need to do is change linens between sessions

and drop the dirty linens off in the laundry room.

Your choice of one free session per week in our cryo, sauna, or float. Discounted

massage sessions available as well.

Cash tips paid out to you same day

Training and Development includes CEU reimbursement up to $300 per year with

receipt.

License renewal reimbursement up to $50 with receipt
