This role is responsible for coordinating the orientation of nursing personnel, representing the organization in community activities, and planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing continuing education programs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of adult education principles, and the ability to promote collaborative relationships among healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities :
- Maintain consistency with administrative and departmental policies through appropriate behavior, dress, attitude, attendance, confidentiality, professionalism, and reliability.
- Plan and implement educational activities to meet identified learning needs, utilizing adult education principles.
- Develop and utilize an effective evaluative system to determine the effectiveness of educational activities.
- Promote collaborative relationships among healthcare professionals and participate in committees, task forces, meetings, and activities to assist in staff development and improved care.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.RN license in state of employment or a compact state.Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). BLS / ACLS / PALS Instructor Certification. De-Escalation Certification (required if Educator in ED or BHU Units).Work Schedule :
8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday
