Inpatient Psychiatrist - Georgetown, DE

SUN Behavioral Health Delaware is seeking an Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our dedicated team in historic Georgetown, DE. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a modern facility within Sussex County, providing essential mental health services to a diverse patient population.

Job Responsibilities :

• Work a Monday-Friday day shift schedule with no weekends or call.
• Provide psychiatric care for an average of 18 patients per day.
• Collaborate with a team of 2 psychiatrists and 3 advanced practice providers.
• Treat patients with various psychiatric disorders including anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD / ADHD, eating disorders, personality disorders, developmental disorders, and psychotic disorders.
• Utilize Wellsky electronic medical records system.
• Demonstrate familiarity with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy.
• Commit to a permanent position with no locum tenens options available.
