The GSE Supervisor oversees daily operations and maintenance of ground support equipment, manages a team of technicians, coordinates maintenance schedules, supports staff training, and collaborates with other departments to maintain efficient airport operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of ground support staff and technicians
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to maintain operational standards and safety
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability for maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with other airport departments to ensure coordinated support services
- Respond to operational issues and emergencies, implementing effective solutions
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair activities for ground support equipment
- Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United StatesMust have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving recordCommunicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)2 years of experience in supervising teams in an operational or maintenance environment, preferably in aviationStrong understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance proceduresExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads / Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airports are 24 / 7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
