The Role

This position is critical in maintaining the quality and efficiency of information within the Consumer Marketing infrastructure. Responsibilities include delivering code, conducting research, and checking quality control and assurances that will result in high quality data processing and data integrity. This position will help incorporate the processes that will result in accelerated sales, increased market awareness, reduced customer churn, and high levels of customer loyalty. The position is instrumental in helping maximize revenue and profitability through contribution to or ownership of targeting strategies designed to acquire, grow, and retain consumer customers.

Location

This is a remote / work-from-home position. However, candidates must reside within the United States.

The Main Responsibilities

Clean, load, parse, and manipulate raw data using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle SQL Server (on prem and cloud-based databases)

Design databases to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance and reliability

Migrate data from on-prem to cloud-based solutions

Identify & incorporate new data elements

Translate raw data to usable format

IT liaison for larger IT supported projects

Identify new data elements needed to address churn triggers, acquisition or upsells

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required :

8+ years working in data management roles or 4+ years related experience with a bachelors degree

Experience with Power BI for dashboarding and data visualization

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Extensive experience in ETL processes and automation.

Extensive experience using SQL.

Extensive and expert experience building and maintaining relational databases

Experience in digital, cloud-based CRM and data platforms

Demonstrated proactive problem identification and resolution.

Strong and proactive data QA experience and expertise.

Experience with batch files and writing Windows commands

Demonstrated success working across organizations to manage data infrastructure enhancement projects.

Ability to excel in fast-paced, time-sensitive environment managing several simultaneous projects.

Problem solving versatility : making the best decisions possible given the data quality and time available.

Creativity and persistence in locating, extracting and analyzing all relevant data.

Ask questions, willing to admit the need for help, and listens well

Preferred :

Culture of curiosity and perseverance in the face of messy data and complex business, information systems landscape.

Demonstrated experience in data management automation

Ability to expertly manage client expectations

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges $82,969 - $110,625 in these states : AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY $87,117 - $116,156 in these states : CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI $91,266 - $121,688 in these states : AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
