Assist manager in routing and dispatch duties for the fleet.

Essential Functions
- Answer phones and two-way company radios in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service to parents, school districts, drivers, monitors and external parties.
- Assist Site Manager with routing, scheduling and daily operations of the terminal site. This may include but not limited to transportation coordination of extra-curricular activities and special education / early childhood.
- Communicate with schools regarding calendars, complaints, bus incidents. Communicate with parents regarding issues and concerns. Communicating with drivers and aides. Assist drivers and aides with any issues including disciplinary issues.
- Keep records and submit reports as required. This includes all documentation for complaints, accidents, routing changes, etc.
- Assist manager with monthly billing, payroll, account receivables, account payable and month end requirements.
- Assist manager to ensure all driver files and necessary job-related training is documented and complete.
Other Functions
Ensure the office area is clean and organized.May be required to clean buses / vans if needed.Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the terminal site.Specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include :
Able to schedule and set priorities for work to be accomplished.Working knowledge of phones, two-way radios, computers and electronic data processing to include Google Drive and Internet experience.Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include :
Written and verbal communication skills, and customer service skills are essential.Able to deal with problems and find solutions.Proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematics skills.Able to develop and maintain effective working relationshipsAble to interact / communicate successfully with personnel at all levelsSpecific ability-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include :
