About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Shift : Night Shift

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty, 18 months preferred

License : Registered Nurse license in Alabama or compact license (no temporary licenses accepted)

Certifications : AHA BLS or Red Cross equivalent

Must-Have :

• Associate degree in nursing
• Willingness to float to other units and hospitals
• Ability to work holidays and every other weekend

Description :

This position involves providing exceptional postoperative care for patients.

Nurses in this area will have a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 : 6.

Training includes pain management, mobility, and bedside procedures.

The role emphasizes creating a comfortable and healing environment tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Collaboration is key, working closely with local physicians and surgeons.

Candidates should be adaptable, ready to float between units as necessary.

This role is clinical in nature and requires hands-on patient interaction.

Scrub colors / dress code will be solid navy.

The expectation is to work either 36 or 48 hours per week.
