Stone Ridge Surgery Center is seeking a highly-motivated, compassionate, Surgical Technologist to join our team.

• Education / Certifications :
• Applicant must possess previous surgical technologist training or possess certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Related experience including scrub duties in surgical specialties.
• Must possess current BLS certification or be willing to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to work well with other team members and strive to provide efficient, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.
• Responsibilities :
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of aseptic technique
• Assistance with patient positioning and preparation for surgical procedures including assistance in draping, applying protective shielding, and other procedure preparatory tasks.
• Assistance with surgical procedures of varying specialties
• Anticipate needs of surgeons and surgical team and respond accordingly to promote optimal surgical care
• Effective and appropriate communication with physicians, other medical providers, clinical staff members, and patients.
• Assisting with patient transport when needed.
• Maintaining knowledge and awareness of current standards of practice.

No nights / holidays / weekends. Competitive compensation package based upon experience.

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay : $26.00 - $38.00 per hour
