As a Security Officer - CRE Unarmed Site Patrol near Times Square, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or potential threats.

Observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents as per Allied Universal and client policies.

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.

Document and report all incidents, hazards, and / or unusual occurrences according to established procedures.

Remain alert to surroundings and provide a visible presence to help to deter potential issues at the location.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
