As an Armed Patrol Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to support a secure environment, and providing outstanding customer service to all staff, patients, and visitors. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PMSun08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect people and property.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in a clear and timely manner according to Allied Universal standards.

Collaborate with hospital staff and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and uphold a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Maintain awareness of the healthcare location's policies and procedures in order to respond appropriately to various situations.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Possess at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.

Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by law.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
