Product Engineer (Aerospace)

Join Consolidated Precision Products Corp, a growth-oriented aerospace manufacturer with over 100 years of experience in aluminum and magnesium components for commercial, regional, corporate, and military aircraft and engines.

Responsibilities

  • Review, direct, and approve pattern designs to ensure dimensional control meets definition requirements and enables efficient manufacture.
  • Review, direct, and approve geometry, metallurgical, and process parameters (gating, heat treatment, mold attributes) to meet product standards.
  • Manage and coordinate technical input from foundry, tool shop, and machining departments into new product developments.
  • Support Sales, Customer Service, and Quality personnel in communicating technical characteristics of casting design specifications and manufacturing methods to customers.
  • Provide technical support to Production Supervisors during casting manufacture.
  • Investigate, correct, and document technical issues; verify effectiveness of actions.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and management to achieve goals.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Material Science or related field preferred).
  • 1–10 years of experience in Product Engineering or a related engineering role.
  • SolidWorks CAD experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
