JOB SUMMARY

This role supports operational functions by providing technical guidance, assisting with improvements, and contributing to departmental projects to achieve both departmental and corporate objectives. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, process improvement knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cover floor operations in the absence of the supervisor and communicate the status of operations to shift supervision
• Engage in problem solving and performance management within the business area
• Assist the Supervisor in maintaining workflow in the department
• Provide training for new personnel or as required
• Maintain a high-quality work environment by sharing knowledge and motivating team members
• Keep the supervisor informed of potential and existing concerns
• Lead by example by meeting or exceeding performance expectations, ensuring job accuracy, following safety guidelines, and complying with company and regulatory requirements
• Participate in and support process improvement projects, including test cycles to improve efficiency, customer service, and compliance
• Troubleshoot departmental issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop preventive solutions
• Demonstrate working knowledge of department operating systems
• Maintain orders, work areas, and stock locations in a safe, clean, and organized manner
• Report unsafe or potentially unsafe hazards to management
• Perform miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned
• Ensure exemplary attendance and adherence to schedule
