Wespath, recognized as a 2017-2025 Chicagos Best and Brightest Companies to Work For and a 2018-2025 National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst that is responsible for supporting Wespaths financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes. The analyst collaborates cross-functionally with business leaders to support financial planning and ensure alignment with company goals. The analyst also provides actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making and improve financial performance.

More specifically, as a Senior Financial Analyst you will have the following key responsibilities :

  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, identifying key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Present findings from various financial analyses to business partners and organizational leadership, delivering clear insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with business leaders to define and refine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), evaluate performance outcomes, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance goal achievement.
  • Leverage analytical results to propose improvements to existing metrics or introduce new measures that better align with business objectives.
  • Assist in the preparation of executive-level presentations for leadership and board meetings.
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
  • Support cost-benefit analysis and ad hoc financial projects.

  • The compensation range for this position is $125,000 - $137,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicants qualifications (education, training, and / or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown.

    Minimum Requirements / Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Expert skills in MS Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as NetSuite, Oracle Planning, and Power BI for data-driven planning and analysis.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • CPA designation.
