The Hospitalist Physician role involves co-managing the care of acute and chronically ill patients in an inpatient setting, focusing on efficient transitions from admission to discharge. Candidates must be Certified Nurse Practitioners with relevant certifications and experience in a hospital environment. This position offers a night shift schedule, competitive salary, production bonuses, and full benefits at a leading national healthcare staffing organization.

  • Location : Dothan, AL
  • Specialty / Setting : Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner - Inpatient
  • Duties : co-managing and facilitating the daily care of acute and complex chronically ill patients from admission to discharge. Performs advanced and specialized nursing tasks, providing patient care and performing certain medical functions within the scope of the APP.
  • Ideal Start Date : 60-90 days
  • Schedule : Night shifts - 7 : 00 pm - 7 : 00 am
  • Patient Volume : To be discussed during interview
  • Job Requirements : Certified Nurse Practitioner, Active AL License, BCLS certification ACLS certification Successful completion of SAMC pharmacology exam.
  • Compensation : Highly competitive salary + productivity bonus
