To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have : Requires a High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED) Medical Assistant certification, and appropriate state licensure / permits. Proficient medical terminology knowledge Strong computer skills Proficient with mathematical skills (i.e. ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate decimals and fractions) Excellent public relation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Effective time management skills Agility to pay attention to detail, and the ability to handle moderately complex assignments under minimal supervision are essential. Ability to interact effectively with doctors, patients, vendors, peers, staff, and management are also needed.
