Key Focus Areas
Develop, plan, organize, maintain, travel to, lead, and teach employee training for Operations specific processes across the Operations footprint leveraging the latest technology and methodology for training / educating adults.
Identify and engage process experts in the development of training courses relevant to Operations processes. Ensuring training is developed based upon best practices across the footprint of Operations.
Develop, implement and maintain a Train-the-Trainer program for site specific training resources to ensure effective implementation of training programs and become process experts.
Update procedures, work instructions and other process documents as required to support continuous improvement and ensure training content is aligned with the process document content.
Develop, maintain, and update company records.
Lead a team of Quality Process Improvement Coordinators and Analysts to help achieve training goals.
Foundational Experience
The role of a Training Lead overseeing training and development for all Operations employees requires a blend of strategic planning, instructional design, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in adult learning principles, proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), and the ability to analyze training effectiveness through metrics and feedback.
