About The Position

Must-Have :

• EPIC charting experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• 2 years of charge experience preferred

Description :

MS / Tele position for a community hospital setting.

New travelers are welcomed with 1-2 years of experience.

Preference is given to candidates with community hospital experience.

Candidates should have experience with charting systems, specifically EPIC.

The patient ratio on nights is 4 patients per nurse.

Candidates will be required to float within their scope if needed.

A BSN is preferred.

Candidates must adhere to a natural nail policy.

The average daily census for the unit is 44 patients.

There are 54 beds available in the unit.

Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.

Candidates should possess skills in cardiac telemetry, accessing ports, managing central lines, and more.

The position involves care for a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Candidates should be able to manage cardiac drips and perform isolation precautions.

Candidates must also be skilled in wound care and tracheostomy management.

Candidates will need to complete assigned modules during orientation.
