Job Description & Requirements Specialty : MRI Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Travel Title : MRI Technologist Location : Columbus, OH Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 – 07 : 30) Block Schedule (Sun–Tue) OR Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Block Schedule (Sun–Tue) Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements Perform inpatient and outpatient MRI imaging with focus on neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal cases. Daily caseload : 35–40 patients; population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Conduct scans using Siemens MRI equipment; ensure accurate imaging for oncology, stroke workups, and trauma cases. Procedures include abdomen / pelvis, chest, brain, face / neck, spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), and musculoskeletal (hip, knee, shoulder). Perform special imaging procedures such as CINE, diffusion, gradient echo, perfusion, spectroscopy, MIP, MPR, T1 / T2 imaging, and post-processing. Responsibilities include patient prep, administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, and use of PACS. Must be willing to float within scope and cover weekends. Requirements : Minimum 2 years MRI experience (travel experience required). Certifications : ARRT (R), BLS. Experience in teaching and Trauma Level I hospital preferred. Knowledge of Siemens MRI systems required. EPIC charting experience preferred. Must be able to work weekends and 40-hour workweeks.
