Description :

The HR Generalist will support our Human Resource (HR) department by assisting in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, off boarding, skills development, training, employee engagement, employee wellness, and benefit administration. The HR Generalist will partner closely with the HR Director to implement company-wide initiatives, drive compliance, and strengthen our culture and employee experience. This is a hands-on, onsite role that will work across multiple company locations in Loveland, Colorado, including a customer site where we provide professional services.

Responsibilities by Functional Area

Employee Relations

  • Act as first point of contact for team member questions or concerns.
  • Guide team members and leaders in various HR-related areas, including but not limited to benefits, time off / leave, performance management and learning & development.
  • Support employee relations activities, working toward balanced, constructive outcomes. Facilitate conversation to resolve issues and communicate to leaders of issues addressed and resolutions
  • Participate in team member performance coaching, progressive discipline, and investigations as needed
  • Collaborate with Payroll on team member requests, FMLA tracking, time off / leave request and payroll questions

Recruiting

  • Schedule interviews, coordinate pre-employment checks, process new hire paperwork, and assist with the onboarding process to integrate new employees smoothly.
  • Assist in new hire on-boarding process to deliver exceptional experience for newly hired team members and those converting from temp status to MM Solutions team members.
  • L&D

  • Assist & train supervisors and team members in HR matters to create a positive working culture and develop top notch leaders
  • Update and maintain training tracking database. When new training or recertification is needed, work with Team Members and Supervisors to obtain applicable training.
  • Coordinate with outside training vendors as needed, to support internal certifications.
  • Support HR Management & Leadership

  • Assist HR Director and Leadership with various HR-related projects, such as organizing company events, training, managing employee files, and preparing HR-related reports.

    Requirements :

    Skills and Qualifications :

  • Good knowledge of human resources field and competencies
  • General understanding of Colorado and Federal employment / labor laws
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with external candidates and internal cross-functional team members (service, sales, production, QA, finance, etc.)
  • Comfortable adapting to dynamic priorities, and able to reprioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of professional-level HR experience required.
  • Additional HR experience and / or formal training is strongly preferred.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
