Program Manager
As the Program Manager with BW Papersystems, you will be responsible for providing program management discipline and driving the successful execution of major New Product Development (NPD) projects for Corrugated Finishing Equipment product line. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge products to market, meeting project objectives, and maintaining adherence to budget and schedule. The Program Manager serves as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead cross-functional teams to successful launches of NPD Machines, resulting in ready-to-serve products.
- Foster alignment and collaboration across multiple functional areas towards common business objectives (Key Performance Indicators Schedule, Requirements, Product Cost, Project Cost).
- Ensure consistent alignment across all stakeholders, including internal leadership, internal functional departments, and customers, to keep projects on track with business goals.
- Construct well-informed project schedules in collaboration with the team, encompassing task delineation, resource allocation, milestone setting, and compliance to deadlines.
- Precisely define and establish consensus on project scope, deliverables, and schedules ahead of project commencement.
- Ensure disciplined adherence to Program Management execution playbooks and standards.
- Conduct quality control on the projects throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
- Facilitate and drive effective conflict resolution.
- Make judicious decisions when confronted with multiple options to drive steady project advancement.
- Identify and support process improvement initiatives to drive towards project execution excellence.
- Anticipated travel - 20%
Required Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree required; B.S. in Engineering preferred.Minimum 5 years program / project management experience required, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.Proven track record of 3+ years in managing engineering-focused technical development projects.Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project or equivalent.Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.Barry-Wehmiller is an equal opportunity employer.
