Job Location / Hours Required

The candidate will perform most / all job duties in Roberts Hall 346. Hours may vary depending on the job requirements; however, the total number of hours a student employee may work per week is 20 hours. This position varies on the hours required per week. It is based on the video project needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and storyboard video projects that align with the university's branding and messaging.
• Film a variety of events, activities, and interviews on campus, ensuring high-quality footage and audio.
• Edit video footage using industry-standard software to produce polished final products.
• Incorporate graphics, music, and other elements to enhance the visual appeal of videos.
• Ensure all video content complies with copyright laws and university guidelines.
• Manage equipment, including cameras, tripods, microphones, and lighting, to ensure proper functionality and maintenance.
• Organize and maintain a library of video assets for easy access by the marketing team.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in videography to continually improve skills and techniques.
