Admissions Counselor II
The Admissions Counselor II diligently manages applicant portfolios, performs admission counseling, and conducts individual candidate interviews. The Admissions Counselor II is responsible for evaluating admission applications, responding to written, telephone, and email inquiries, and handling prospective students' issues and concerns. This individual will also participate in campus event planning and admissions committee meetings. As necessary, this individual represents all KGI programs at recruitment, marketing, and networking events while clearly articulating the institute's mission and values.
The Admissions Counselor II is responsible for achieving qualitative and quantitative enrollment goals for assigned programs. This individual will provide guidance and assistance on application completion and ensure proper yield activities are performed to reduce melts per program. The individual will also identify opportunities to improve engagement with prospective students and applications to improve conversion and yield for all programs.

A Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience in recruitment and / or admissions in higher education is required, or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the job. Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce / Hubspot) is preferred.

This is a regular, full-time, benefits-eligible, non-exempt position.
The regular hours of this position are Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm. Hours may vary due to the needs of the College or department.
Pay rate : $27.00 - $30.00 an hour. The hourly rate of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. KGI offers a comprehensive compensation and benefit package.
Ability to maintain good concentration level while dealing with interruptions; attention to details with emphasis on accuracy; capable of giving, receiving, and analyzing information, formulating work plans, and articulating goals and action plans. Ability to travel locally, depending on business needs. Occasionally, will be required to stand for prolonged periods of time at activities / events on and off-campus.
