The Position :

The Junior Paralegal is responsible for performing a diverse range of paralegal functions supporting legal operations and business partner collaboration with the legal team. Ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills and an interest in healthcare law. Responsibilities Include :

  • Supporting contract management processes through monitoring and facilitating contract requests, assignment, approvals, signatures and retention, with oversight from manager
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, NDAs, and facilities agreements
  • Supporting legal department maintenance of corporate books for the Company’s portfolio of companies, with oversight from manager
  • Maintaining tracking systems for the Company’s trademarks portfolio
  • Administrative support to the legal team, including formatting, mailing and tracking of formal legal correspondence to third parties

    • Schedule :

  • Standard business hours, Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-5pm, 40 hours per week

    • Requirements :

  • Associate’s degree or Paralegal certificate required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ paralegal work experience, preferably in healthcare or corporate law.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, Stark Law, and other healthcare regulations is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
  • Additional work experience in corporate or law firm environment taken into consideration
