Medical Assistant - Nocatee, FL
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced primary care clinic. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for patient check-in, obtaining vital patient information (including height, weight, and medical questionnaire), recording vitals such as blood pressure, and assisting physicians during examinations and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Check-in patients and obtain essential patient information (height, weight, medical questionnaire).
- Record vital signs such as blood pressure.
- Assist the physician during patient examinations and procedures.
- Maintain and update medical records accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient comfort.
- Perform phlebotomy and other clinical tasks as needed.
- Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, preferably Epic.
- Ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process for patients.
Essential Skills
Certified / Registered Medical Assistant in the state of Florida.Experience with medical records, vital signs, and patient check-in / check-out.Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.Proficiency in using EMR systems, with a preference for Epic.Ability to perform phlebotomy and record blood pressure.Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.Confidence in working with demanding providers and a high patient load.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred to be a certified / registered Medical Assistant in the state of Florida.Desire to work as a Medical Assistant.Positive attitude and compassion towards patients.Professional and strong communication skills.Must be confident in the ability to work with demanding providers and patient load.Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-paced primary care clinic that services 120-140 patients per week with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00 / hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
