Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer in El Paso, TX.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What you’ll do : Primary Function :

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading and supporting manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring efficient production operations. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce waste, and implement new and advanced manufacturing technologies.

Essential Functions :

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Implement Lean manufacturing Principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures and assists with training.
• Lead PFMEA activities using a systematic approach.
• Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades or new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate industrialization runs for new products and processes.
• Maintain routings in the system and evaluate efficiencies.
• Calculate capacity reports for planning purpose.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Support capital projects and manage timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships per project plans and Eaton standards.
• Investigate and initiate cost-reduction initiatives.
