Our client, a leading insurance provider, is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to strengthen its next generation of data-driven decision systems. Operating in a highly regulated, fast-paced industry, this organization relies on advanced analytics to improve customer experience, enhance product design, and manage operational and financial risk.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy predictive models that directly shape underwriting, claims, and fraud detection strategies. You’ll be responsible for turning large, complex datasets into actionable insights and safeguards, ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and resilience of core insurance operations.

Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative role
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and BigQuery, with hands-on experience delivering production-ready models
Solid background in time-sensitive or high-volume data environments (insurance, financial services, or related industries a plus)
Ability to work in evolving business contexts and adapt solutions to changing priorities
Experience managing full project lifecycles independently

Daily Responsibilities
Build and enhance pipelines that convert raw policy, claims, and transaction data into usable features
Develop predictive models for underwriting, pricing, fraud detection, and claims optimization
Implement monitoring systems and controls to identify anomalies or exposures proactively
Create dashboards, reports, and alerts to give visibility across business units
Partner with engineers, actuaries, and product teams to embed intelligence into operational systems
