Space Planner ($30 / hr) (Atlanta)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Space Planner to support the development, execution, and maintenance of planograms and merchandising layouts across multiple retail categories. The Space Planner will utilize JDA Space Planning (Blue Yonder) to implement category strategies, ensure planogram accuracy, and optimize product placement in alignment with company merchandising objectives.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Merchandising and Category Management teams to enhance the in-store experience and drive sales performance through strategic space utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain planograms (POGs) using JDA Space Planning to reflect current assortments, merchandising strategies, and store layouts.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across planograms within and across categories.
• Apply retail merchandising principles such as brand blocking, subtype blocking, and space-to-sales optimization.
• Maintain and organize the planogram and floorplan libraries , ensuring all versions are properly documented and accessible.
• Support cross-functional projects and collaborate with Merchandising, Category Management, and Store Operations teams to execute space planning initiatives.
• Conduct planogram analysis to identify opportunities for improved product placement and assortment performance.
• Participate in category resets and implementation reviews to ensure execution aligns with strategy.
• Assist in the management and upkeep of the JDA Space Management application.
