Description :
The Mortgage Processor will assist in daily pipeline completion for the mortgage department, ensuring the efficient preparation, validation, and processing of mortgage loan files. This role will coordinate between loan officers and underwriters ensuring smooth operations from the initial loan request through to closing. The processor will help with member interactions, document collection, and loan packaging.
Key Responsibilities :
- Preparation of loan files for scanning, system entry, and proper storage.
- Preparation of release documents and ensure all required signatures and documentation from members are collected in a timely manner.
- Validate loan data, examine documentation, and identify potential risks for underwriter review.
- Ensure approved transactions are fulfilled within delegated authority.
- Assist staff in facilitating loan requests from start to finish.
- Handle escalated issues with members, providing high-level service and resolution.
Requirements :
Qualifications and Skills :
Strong understanding of mortgage loans, including member equity loans and equity lines of credit.Experience with loan systems, such as the Encompass system.Excellent computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet functions.Ability to manage significant amounts of detailed information with accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with members, potential members, and staff.Proven ability to multi-task effectively between managing operations, supporting officers, and supervising staff.Attributes :

Physical Requirements :
The employee must be able to speak clearly, read and follow various instructions, and perform basic math calculations with a high degree of accuracy. The ability to handle stress while balancing multiple tasks is essential.
