The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online Adobe Illustrator tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

Overview

Why join our platform : base contract rates start at $18 / hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40 / hour as you work with the same student. Get paid up to twice per week. Set your own hours and tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform. We match you with students suited to your teaching style and expertise. Our AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to help you save prep time and focus on impactful teaching. We handle the logistics—you invoice for sessions, and we manage payments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring in Adobe Illustrator to individual students.
  • Plan and deliver personalized lessons, adapting to different learning styles.
  • Engage students with clear explanations and a friendly, proactive teaching approach.
  • Utilize the Tutor Copilot and platform tools to enhance sessions and reduce prep time.
  • Invoice for tutoring sessions and participate in the payment process as managed by Varsity Tutors.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to tailor lessons to individual learners and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Preference given to candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
