Responsibilities
- Support 24 / 7 operation of GMP process and facility equipment to ensure maximum uptime
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of automation system issues
- Manage vendors and suppliers for automation system implementation and support
- Develop and maintain specifications and documentation for automation systems
- Collaborate with IT / OT teams to ensure secure and reliable infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians
- Drive improvements in automation systems through hardware / software upgrades
Key Requirements
Associate's Degree (minimum) or Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldExperience with industrial automation and controls in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI development, and FactoryTalk systemsKnowledge of SCADA, Building Automation Systems, and network infrastructureAbility to support manufacturing operations on an on-call rotationStrong troubleshooting skills and understanding of safety practicesExperience in regulated industries such as biotech or pharmaceuticals preferredEvery day, Lonza's products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
