Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Kansas City, KS 66160 (Kansas nursing jobs) Facility Type : Operating Room, Level 1 Trauma Center Assignment Length : 13-week travel RN contract Start Date : November 16, 2025 Shift : 12-hour day shifts (6 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM) Schedule : Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (3 x 12-hour shifts per week) Total Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,880 - $2,020 On-call Requirement : Up to 6 call shifts per 13-week contract Weekend Rotation : None (set weekday schedule) Floating : Float to all ORs as needed Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience in a Level 1 trauma center Strong scrub nurse experience required Proficiency with DaVinci robotic surgery, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, or exploratory laparotomy (must be highly skilled in at least one) Experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Trauma, GYN, Urology, or Plastic Surgery preferred Active Kansas or Compact State RN License (Registered Nurse license) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Nicotine-free workplace policy OR RN Responsibilities Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for diverse surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room Scrub and circulate for complex trauma and specialty surgeries Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to various ORs as needed to support the surgical team Participate in on-call rotation and provide holiday coverage as required Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards Take the next step in your nursing career with this top travel RN job in Kansas City, KS.
