Omaha, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment by providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and employees. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. What Youll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.

Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the location.

Respond to incidents and / or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter and identify potential security-related concerns.

Assist with emergency response activities as required, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed.

Document and report security-related incidents and / or unusual activity according to site procedures.

Work collaboratively with client staff and other Allied Universal team members to maintain a professional presence within the location.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR certification is preferred.

Experience providing customer service is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
