job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and / or providing directions to visitors as needed. Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and / or local authorities when incidents arise. Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner following any incidents or routine patrols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Job Description
As a Security Professional Unarmed Retail Mall Patrols in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for visitors and tenants. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will interact with the public, respond to incidents as needed, and support a positive experience for everyone at the property. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
